HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

Dumbledore has given Harry a certain task to carry out and the only people that he can let in on this secret task are Ron and Hermione. The secret involves identifying, locating, and destroying the horcurxes created by Lord Voldemort. This is their only option to try and weaken him so that he may be destroyed. Along the way, however, Harry finds that he plays a greater part in ridding the world of Lord Voldemort then he ever imagined. A great battle ensues in which many lives are lost and many others are changed forever. Read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book in the Harry Potter series, to find out if Harry and his friends are successful in ridding the world of Lord Voldemort and at what cost.

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE

In his sixth year at Hogwarts, Harry has a lot to worry about. Lord Voldemort has returned and there have been attacks in both the wizarding world and the muggle world. This year also finds students taking their O.W.L tests in order to determine which job they will go into after school. Harry is determined to get the grades which will allow him to go into the profession of Auror, a job similar to a wizarding police force. But he is also dealing with feelings towards a certain girl, whom he fears he may not be able to have. However, when tragedy strikes at Hogwarts, Harry realizes that he must leave everything behind and stand on his own in defeating Lord Voldemort, even at the expense of his own life.

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX

Lord Voldemort has returned to get rid of Harry and to rule the magical world. Yetno one believes Harry, they think he has gone crazy. After Harry is attacked by dementors in the muggle world, a group called the Order of the Pheonix is called forward to help protect Harry and stop Lord
Voldemort. This group has gone into hiding and are working on trying to protect a “weapon” of some sort that Voldemort is searching for. While they work on this, Harry struggles with getting back into school after being expelled for using magic in front of muggles in order to ward off the dementors. At the same time, Harry finds that he is having dreams that end up coming true. In these dreams, though, he is not himself, he is Lord Voldemort. Because of his connection with Voldemort, the Order fears that if they cannot stop these dreams, Voldemort may be able to use Harry to do his bidding. Read the fifth book in the Harry Potter series and see if Harry can survive yet another year at Hogwarts.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

Now begins the fourth year for Harry at Hogwarts. This is a special year too. When the students arrive they are informed that this year Hogwart’s will be hosting the Tri-Wizard tournament. It is a tournament that tests the strengths and weaknesses of each champion to enter and be chosen. Harry

HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN

Harry is back at Hogwart’s for his third year. Over the summer the talk all over has been about an escaped prisoner from Azkaban by the name of Sirius Black. Apparently Sirius was sent to Azkaban prison for the murder of 13 innocent people. Not only did Sirius murder these innocent people but he was also an accomplice of Lord Voldemort. He has now escaped and the last thing anyone heard from him before he escaped was the phrase “He’s at Hogwart’s…” muttered over and over again in his sleep. No one knows how he escaped but extra protection and guards have been put into place at the school this year. Harry finds himself dealing with his classes as well as Quidditch and a fear that Sirius Black is coming for him because he is the only one who has been able to stop Voldemort from taking over. Will Harry have a run in with Sirius Black in this third year of his schooling and will the escape of Sirius Black bring back Lord Voldemort?
