BATS AT THE LIBRARY

by Brian Lies (K+)

Bats, both young and old, come swooping in to behold….what is it that has these bats all in a stir…well of course, it’s the library. Someone has left a window open for them to roam. And roam they do! Whether it’s splashing in the water fountain, making shadow puppets on the walls, or enjoying story time, every one of those bats is having the time of their lives. Oh, but what’s that they see, oh no—it’s the sun. For now they must leave, but they hope that one day soon, someone will leave the window open once again. Read this enchanting and beautifully illustrated book by Brian Lies.
