Book 1 of the Twitches series
by H.B. Gilmour (4th+)
A long time ago, two twin sisters were separated from their mother and from each other, after their father was killed by his brother. They were separated for their own good in order to keep their uncle from finding and destroying them. In order to keep this from happening, a warlock named Karsh and a witch named Ileana each took a child and found a protective person to look over them, far from each other. Thirteen years later, two different yet very similar girls have no idea that the other exists. Camryn Barnes and Alexandra Fielding are each living their separate lives with their parent(s). The girls lives have nothing in common with each other. One lives in Montana in a rundown trailer with her mother whereas the other lives in Massachusetts with both of her parents, a brother, and she has had a good life. Soon, the two twins are about to meet when Camryn goes on a trip to Montana with her family and runs into Alex, who works at a theme park where the Barnes family ends up. When the two girls meet, not only do they look exactly alike, but strange and unexplainable things begin to happen to them? Will the girls find out that their parents are not really their parents? And can they figure out what is happening to them when they get together and strange things go on? Read The Power of Two, the first book in the Twitches series to find out.
