What starts out as an ordinary day soon turns into disaster when a mysterious Mr. Webster stops by for a visit. After escaping Mr. Webster by fleeing Larklight, the children soon find that not only are there dangers and problems there but other planets as well. On their journey they find several new friends including Jack Havock, a pirate, and several others of unknown species. Together they have many adventures and must save all of the planets from Mr. Webster and his spiders.
